Barry is our CEO and has a mission to help our planet become more sustainable by creating a truly circular economy for rubber, solving a major waste and emissions problem. Outside of running our Company, Barry enjoys spending time with his family and exploring our planet with n+1 bicycles.

Operations Director

David is Recircle's Operations Director and an engineer who has spent over 30 years designing and developing innovative solutions for complex challenges. His drive is to create sustainable change in rubber industry waste management by establishing new processes and technologies whilst embracing LEAN manufacturing systems that will create a fully circular economy.

Andrew Turner

Rubber Materials and Performance

Andrew is our Head of Rubber Technology with over 30 years of experience in the rubber industry. His goal is to minimise the environmental impact associated with the production and disposal of rubber products. He lives in the Midlands, enjoys watching football and runs regularly in an attempt to keep fit.

Christina Ly

Rubber Technology Manager

Christina creates novel rubber formulations to incorporate sustainable materials at Recircle. She’s proud to be adept in all aspects of rubber processing. Her mission is to deliver sustainable solutions to the rubber industry and help grow Recircle globally. She has recently completed her part-time MSc in Advanced Materials at Cranfield University.

Arune Balaikaite

Industrial Biotechnologist

Arune joined Recircle as an Industrial Biotechnologist after completing her PhD in Biochemistry at the Manchester Institute of Biotechnology in 2021. She is interested in applying protein science to real-world sustainability challenges. She enjoys working with stable proteins at room temperature.

Tanmay Talwalkar

Biotechnology Assistant

Tanmay joined Recircle after completing his M.Sc at the University of Manchester. He is interested in protein design and modification and enjoys working with in-silico modelling of enzymes, believing that modified enzymes hold the key to a truly sustainable tomorrow. He loves watching and playing football.

Oksana Bilyk

Senior Industrial Biotechnologist

Oksana joined Recircle in 2020 as an Industrial Biotechnologist. She holds PhD in Pharmaceutical Biotechnology and has more than ten years of experience in microbial genetic engineering, including on secondary metabolite biosynthesis. Oksana enjoys spending time with her family and friends.

Yasashwini Sridhar

Biotechnology Assistant

Yasashwini joined Recircle as a Biotechnology Assistant after completing her MSc in Molecular Biology and Biotechnology at The University of Sheffield. She is interested in working towards providing sustainable solutions to tackle global pollution from a biotechnological standpoint. Her work centres working with molecular cloning techniques and proteins.

Business Administrator

Phil is the Business Administrator dealing with the day-to-day aspects of office life with 30 years of experience and is excited to be part of a group that’s working for a better future. Phil is a fan of old movies and science fiction. After all, “It’s rubber Jim, but not as we know it”.

Ryan Bellis

Operational Deployment Manager

Ryan joined Recircle as an Operational Deployment Manager and has 20 years’ experience in leadership, project management, reliability, and operational excellence.  His mission is to transform conceptual designs into a global network with the mindset to improve global sustainability. He lives in North Wales and enjoys running, fishing, mountain biking and socialising.

Hossein Salahshour Nia

Research and Development Chemist

Hossein joined Recircle as a Research and Development Chemist. He holds a PhD in Organic Chemistry with over 10 years of experience in the petrochemical industry.  His primary focus has been on designing and synthesising heterogeneous catalysts while optimising chemical reaction conditions to minimise the environmental impact of these processes. He has a passion for fitness and bodybuilding and can often be found in the gym during his spare time.
